Speaking of Gifts. Here is a very special one. This wife of mine, Sharlene. She takes this being a Grandmother very seriously. It has been very heartwarming for me to watch as our three girls were preparing to be and have become little "Mommies". There is a special bond that is there between Mother and Daughter. Sharlene was able to be with Jacqueline and Pamela after their little ones came and plans to go to be with Annie after little Johnson is born. She wants to be there to help and they seem to appreciate what is given.
She also has been practicing quite some time on nieces and having "tea parties." They are called "Tea Parties", but they rarely have tea. But it is a fun time. Now she is getting to have tea parties with her own grandchildren. I think that makes her happy.
Most of all she is just special. She just gives and gives and gives. Many days she does not feel very well and she still does a lot of giving for her family, others she loves and to those who she feels are in need.
She has been my very special gift.
